My favorite.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.

"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,
"Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed--
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed."
"But not on us!" the Oysters cried,
Turning a little blue.
"After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!"
"The night is fine," the Walrus said.
"Do you admire the view?
"It seems a shame," the Walrus said,
"To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"The butter's spread too thick!"

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

  2. Hellooo Anel.
Just reading back through your blog to the BDC tonight. Im just back from the East Coast of Canada...what we call "the Maritimes" visiting my dad with my brother.

Way cool blog...love your perspectives and writing. You didnt write anything about the reunion...how was your experience there?

You never know about Fiesta...Ive been invited the last two years too...but already doing so much travelling cant add one more trip. Oh, yeah...anyway...Im sitting here "getting my affaris in order". Seems rather a boring order compared to your big journey...I do long for a big trip like this too...but over in your end of the world... a year in Africa! Things are well enough here though...great community and many things to get about...recently sweat lodges have showed up in my life again...one of my original introductions to shamanism before I met Eliot. Its very good to attend lodges again and they are happening just down the street from me! Cool! So for now, I feel the powers that be have put enough on my plate they want me to get about...but Africa wont go away...it gets more and more entrancing...and I try not to romanticize it, while also being open to researching possible places I might show up over there. Back to CP for sure...and really want to see/experience Botswana...Ill have to make the leap when ready as you have and just trust I will be lead.

Rock the Burning Man...cant wait to hear about it.

By the sounds of it I should anticipate seeing you back in Africa in the near future it seems? It would be great to see you there. Promise to give detailed low down on the B Man when I'm back. I can't wait to get there!!

    Love to you
and good luck with everything happening in your life.

"And what does it live on?"
"Weak tea with cream in it."
A new difficulty came into Alice's head,
"Supposing it couldn't find any?" she suggested.
"Then it would die, ofcourse."
"But that must happen very often," Alice remarked thoughtfully.
"It always happens," said the Gnat.
